NOFA/Mass Winter Conference
The Northeast Organic Farming Association, Massachusetts Chapter (NOFA/Mass) invites you to its 29th Annual Winter Conference, featuring 70 workshops on a wide range of topics, exhibits, an all-day seminar and keynote by Ben Burkett, family farmer and State Coordinator for the Mississippi Association of Cooperatives.
The conference draws about 1,000 from Massachusetts and neighboring states, including seasoned and beginning farmers, urban homesteaders, backyard gardeners, food activists, and others. 2016 workshop topics include crop production, farm management, health, homesteading, livestock, beekeeping, policy, skill building, infrastructure, soil, urban/backyard gardening, organic land care, and more.
This is an event for the whole family! While you attend great educational workshops, your children and teens experience age-appropriate and fun workshops about these same topics. The children's conference (ages 3-12) provides a lively, interactive educational experience for kids. Hands-on, do-it-yourself workshops keep teens active and engaged.
The conference will be followed by a post-conference dinner with Ben Burkett.
