How to use the Food System Scenario Tool (FSST)
The BAU- Business As Usual Models listed in the table of contents on the left side of the FSST model are food system trends. These trends fit into four main foci: 1. Agriculture 2. The Food Environment 3. Human & Social Justice 4. Nutritional & Health Outcomes To view the historical data and the projection of a particular trend, click on the BAU category in the table of contents under ‘dataset’, then click the ‘Re-plot’ button. A graph will appear on the right, which shows a ‘business-as-usual’ projection of the food system trend. To view a solution pick a solution, which corresponds to the BAU of interest, then click the ‘Re-plot’ button to see the reduction of the unwanted food system trend as a colored ‘wedge.’
